Member companies of the Supernova Group—Supernova Projekti d.o.o. and Supernova Sisak West d.o.o.—along with partner companies Sirius Sisak East d.o.o. and Åpenhet AS, have implemented three pilot projects for the construction of integrated photovoltaic power plants on the roofs of the Supernova Sisak East and Supernova Sisak West shopping centers.
The total capacity of the installed photovoltaic power plants is 722.42 kWp, which will generate 751,224 kilowatt-hours of renewable energy. In line with the increased production of energy from renewable sources, the project significantly contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 119.14 tons of CO2 annually.
Thanks to the installation of solar panels, the Supernova Sisak West shopping center will secure 30 percent, and the Supernova Sisak East shopping center 40 percent of their total energy needs from renewable sources.
